Thom Hunt – 10 Top Tips and Take Aways
1. Use an open jighead wherever possible
2. Consider leaving your confidence lures at home to force you to master something new.
3. Use powerbaits like cranks or jerks to wake them up, you only need one to break rank
4. Try all shades of green
5. Walk the dog. Come off that centre line with lures such as jerkbaits
6. Keep moving, don’t get locked into a single spot for too long
7. Scale down when things get tough
8. Use a 1000 style reel for finesse fishing because of the slower retrieve ratio
9. Use knotable wire when using trebles or when there’s pike aroun
10. IT ONLY TAKES ONE BITE!
